Are you honest with your clients? (thought of the day)

A patient goes to the doctor with chest pains.

The patient thinks they have a heart problem, and expects to be referred to a cardiologist.

It turns out they have gastroesophageal reflux disease, and are recommended an over-the-counter antacid.

Most people going through a divorce don’t really have a legal problem. Just like a lot of patients who visit the doctor have a condition that is far more treatable than they first expected.

If your client didn’t need legal representation, would you tell them?
